Like for example, among other rubbish, my mother-in-law gave me some bracelets, (I never wear jewellery or anything, she knows this) rub-on tattoos and a kite! I'll never use any of those things, I'm too old, and I gave a broad list of stuff I actually wanted!

eBay is a great resource for things like this. I have found large amounts of charms for very very low prices.
