vintage costume jewellery

i’m planning on investing at either jewelery store but i’m not sure which. i plan to buy a charm bracelet and add charms over time. which jewellery store do think is best and why? thanks!

I have both bracelets, a tiffanys charm and a links of london and to be honest they’re completely different and have pro’s and cons to each!
Tiffanys:
Pro’s:
* It’s tiffany’s! i always feel like im wearing something expensive when i wear it
* Its lightwieght and isnt irrating like some bracelets
* Its subtle and isnt overly blingy
* It looks expensive and being silver makes it suitable to wear for any occasion

Cons:
* I find mine needs regular cleaning to keep the silver bright.

Links of london
Pro’s
* Its different looking, all the different rings of silver around the bracelet is unusual and pretty
* more charms can be added to the links of london
* Its smart and expensive looking

Cons:
* It’s quite a heavy bracelet and can get a bit irrating when worn for a long period
* It catches the hairs on my arm alot and kinda hurts

Both bracelets are equally expensive though, i paid £120 for my tiffany’s when i bought it and £110 for my links of london.

Overall though i woulld say my favourite is the tiffanys because i feel good when i wear it and its just a really pretty piece of jewellery!

I have a hockey dinner coming up, i want to wear a red dress and some red heels, What do you think?
The dress is quite short and some of my teachers will be there, should i wear jeans under the top? How should i have my hair? What kind of jewellery?
I have quite a vintage/unique style, my favourite item that i own is a spoon on a necklace!

if you know the dress is short already, then no, dont wear that. You will feel uncomfortable all night. Just wear the jeans and a cute shirt. I always straighten my hair for a cute yet classy look with a pretty neckalce and braclet.

I am looking into opening a business (small designer boutique) in a busy city. (UK)

I was just wondering if anyone knew of any shops in the UK that would sell (or are currently selling) handmade crafts? Like jewellery and stuff.

I’ve tried a number of stores in my area and not had much success yet, so i was just wondering if anyone on here knew of anywhere

One place is http://craftmall.com/ and http://www.etsy.com If I may suggest also maybe donating your product or two to goodwill with your label on it. This way people can see your artwork and you get repeat customers. Depending on the type of item you make, you can sell to places like rv resorts, restaurants, hotels, gift shops in hospitals, flower shops etc.
