Oma Charm jewelry?

I’m looking for a necklace charm that reads "Oma" (German word for Grandma) for mother’s day. Any idea where I can find one?

I just visited my Oma in Germany a month ago with my son,so I know how much that charm would mean to you.But I don’t think you can find something like that because most Jewelry company’s are more about the American customers then international. But the good side is that alot of Jewelry stores can do special orders where they can ingrave it on a clear charm. If they can do for wedding rings then they should be able to do it for charms,if they sell them at there store.Look in your Phone Book and call every Jewelry store, rather its a cheap crafty store or a nice Jewelry store at the Mall, some one should be able to do it,and it shouldn’t be to pricey for something that small.Hope this has helped,Good Luck.

Thanks !!

I found one reference to making a "quickie" one using a flattened glass marble (found in the floral section of craft stores), a picture and epoxy gel. I wonder where you can find square pieces of glass? I think I’ll check Michael’s when I’m out tomorrow. These are cute and creative - and would make nice gifts. Thank You.

You could try a "head shop." You know, a store that sales pipes and bongs. Tattoo parlors also.

I’m wanting to know what pliers I need to open and close the links on these
http://www.spoiltrottenbeads.co.uk/jewellery-making-tools-277-c.asp

I have round nosed pliers (used to make the end of the head/eye pins round) and a pair of the thin nosed pliers. I use both pairs to open the jumprings. I would suggest this method else you will end up with no nails.

I bought a starter kit from e-bay, got all the tools I needed in it was very reasonable as well.

I am after suppliers of charms. like the ones on ebay the enamel silver plated ones.

I love these Juicy Couture charms but I don’t want to wear them on a bracelet.

Does anyone have any other creative ways to use charm bracelet charms?

I am looking for a jewellery wholesaler in the uk that is of good quality, and fairly cheap? I am especially interested in charm bracelets and charms but all kinds of jewellery really. Can anyone recommend anywhere they have experience with, or have heard good things about? I’m just starting up and could do with some help and advice.

Thank you!

Try Kernowcraft in Cornwall. They have a website and a catalogue by post. I have lost their web address but I’m sure Google will have it.
