Hell yeah! Also, do a Google search for thrift stores in your area, usually the random thrift stores have some really awesome vintage style EVERYTHING, for dirt cheap.

I’m not a huge ebay buyer.
Actually I have never brought from ebay, I just look at things on there. So I have decided to take the plunge and have a go. So does anyone have any tips for buying vintage clothing, jewellery and accessories on ebay?
Is it a good idea to buy designer on ebay or are you likely to run into fakes?

actually, if your looking for vintage, might i suggest checking out Etsy instead?

its a website specifically dedicated to selling vintage, handmade, and antique stuff. if it doesnt fit into one of those catagories, your not even allowed to post it. so your much less likely to run into fakes

I have become intrested in shopping thrift stores for vintage items, such as clothes, jewelry, purses, and shoes. I want to know how to determine if a piece is in fact "vintage." Or how to determine what year it was manufactured. What are some things I should look for?

Generally speaking, clothing older than 25 years is considered to be vintage, though opinions vary on this definition.

I have a huge collection of vintage jewelry and handbags , where could I earn more money and or each more buyers ? etsy or ebay

I love etsy, but I also love ebay, i guess the main difference is etsy doesn’t charge you as much to list it or take as much of a cut as ebay (if etsy takes a cut at all? i dont remember. they may just charge listing fees?).

Also with etsy you can set the price you want to get for your items, and it’s less hassle than dealing with tons of bidders(yes yes i know buy it now exists), and possibly deadbeat bidders on ebay. I rarely see deadbeats on etsy! so far, anyway.

Etsy seems to be more the place to sell your vintage items, unless you have something that you know is rare & valuable but don’t know much about, and you want to get the highest price for it, in which case a bidding war on ebay might be just the thing.

I usually try to search completed listings on ebay to see what other people have sold similar items for.
And I just think it’s fun that on Etsy you can see who hearts your items and your shop!
